The GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) Parent Association is a volunteer group committed to supporting the GATE Program within the Calgary Board of Education.
Our members have children who are currently enrolled in the GATE Program, which is a Special Education program designed to meet the unique, and often complex needs of learners who are academically gifted.

What does it mean to be ‘gifted’? What is Gifted and Talented Education? Where can I find support?

If you are looking for the answers to these questions and more, we welcome you to our site and we hope you find what you are looking for.
